Roblox spotlights an in-game Showdown Cup in its September games preview
The preview describes a tournament inside one featured Roblox experience; it is not a platform-wide Roblox league.
Roblox’s Fall Games Preview says an India-based studio planned to launch its first Showdown Cup during September 2026. The preview describes a tournament in that game’s in-experience Esports Arena, where players compete for a place on a champions board.
The Roblox Newsroom preview does not state the exact event dates, entrants, rules or prizes. It describes a game-specific in-platform event, not a Roblox-wide professional esports championship.
