Brawl Stars News: Brawl Pass, Balance and World Finals

Supercell’s September release notes list two themed pass seasons, balance changes and a 16 September maintenance patch. The World Finals are scheduled for November, with a published 12-team format and prize pool.

Royal Academy and Brawl-O-Ween seasons arrive with balance tuning

Supercell’s 1 September notes list the Royal Academy season and Brawl-O-Ween cosmetics in the Brawl Pass, with Hank and Nani-themed rewards for Royal Academy and Fortune Teller P / Shade items for Brawl-O-Ween. A 16 September maintenance update nerfed Shade, Gus, El Primo and Amber in specified ways.

The 19 September Brawl Stars x Duolingo event ran through 30 September. Its community tasks and reward window are over by this update date; check the in-game news panel for the currently active season event rather than expecting expired collaboration rewards.

Brawl Pass, balance and ranked preparation

  • The Brawl Pass changes by season. Confirm the active pass, reward claims and season timer in the client; the September release note includes more than one themed season and their cosmetics.
  • Shade’s Super charge and Gadget values, Gus cooldown/healing and El Primo’s Asteroid Belt were adjusted in the 16 September maintenance. Recheck builds and map picks against the latest client balance.

Brawl Stars World Finals 2026

  • World Finals: 20–22 November in Tokyo, 12 teams, $1 million prize pool.
  • Format: two GSL groups of four; top two from each join four regional leaderboard leaders in an eight-team double-elimination bracket. Grand Final is best-of-seven.
