Call of Duty News: Black Ops, Warzone and COD Mobile

The site’s Call of Duty profile covers multiple titles, so their seasons and tournament schedules are kept distinct here. Black Ops 7/Warzone Season 6 is live, COD Mobile has its own Season 8, and neither should be confused with the CDL season calendar.

Season 6: The Haunting is live in Black Ops 7 and Warzone

Activision’s Season 6 announcement introduces Haunted Hollow, Giant Infected, the T.E.D.D. Trials and Hordepoint modes, Zombies content and the DOOM Event Pass. The Season 6 Battle Pass is led by Blackjack and contains 100+ rewards; the VMP SMG and TR51 Para Assault Rifle are free weapon unlocks on its reward pages.

Warzone’s 30 September patch note also adjusts loot cleanup and gas damage. Call of Duty Mobile has a separate current cycle: the official Season 8 “Against All Fate” announcement lists a Honkai Impact 3rd collaboration, roguelike top-down Multiplayer mode, Isolated POI and new Battle Pass content.

Battle Pass, event pass and COD Mobile

  • In BO7/Warzone, review the Season 6 Battle Pass and DOOM Event Pass in the game client; the event pass and Battle Pass are separate reward tracks. The official Season 6 article lists two free weapons and seasonal challenges.
  • COD Mobile runs its own Battle Pass, ranked progression and event schedule. The profile does not merge CODM and Warzone patch notes, currencies or rewards; use the relevant title’s in-game news tab before spending CP.

Competitive status by Call of Duty title

  • The 2026 CDL season concluded in July; CDL is the console/PC professional circuit and does not provide a universal schedule for every Call of Duty game.
  • COD Mobile’s 2026 World Championship uses in-game solo/team qualifiers, World Championship Points and Summer/Fall regional splits. Check the CODM esports page for regional registration windows.
